Hochiki Europe, the fire detection and life safety manufacturer, will exhibit at the first Bulgarian Security Summit, held at Inter Expo Centre in Sofia on 28 and 29 October 2026. The team will be on Booth 10 across both days, led by Petia Simeonova, Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Europe.
The Bulgarian Security Summit is a new conference and exhibition organised by a&s Adria and NAFTSO, the national association representing Bulgaria’s security technology companies. It brings together manufacturers, integrators, system designers and decision-makers from Bulgaria, Eastern Europe and international markets. The conference programme covers smart cities, critical infrastructure protection, transport and logistics security, and data centres.
For Hochiki Europe, the summit is an opportunity to meet existing and new customers in one place. Petia and the team will be available throughout the event to talk about current projects and to give practical advice on choosing and specifying fire detection for Bulgarian buildings.
Petia said: “Bulgaria has a strong community of installers and system designers, and many of them have worked with Hochiki products for a long time. The summit gives us the chance to meet these customers in person and to welcome new ones. We want to hear about the projects people are planning and show how our systems can support them.”
Visitors to Booth 10 can find out more about the ESP Intelligent addressable range and the Latitude addressable panel, which is EN 54 Part 13 approved and certified to EN 54-2 and EN 54-4. The team can also discuss Hochiki’s conventional detection range and specialist products such as Linear Heat Detection Cable for car parks and other demanding spaces.
Hochiki products already protect major Bulgarian buildings. At Smart Tower in Sofia, a mixed-use development of more than 60,000 square metres, the fire detection system is built on the ESP Intelligent range, with 2,887 ACC-EN multi-sensors in the main areas.
Conventional detectors protect the residential apartments and Linear Heat Detection Cable protects the underground car park, where airflow and exhaust fumes make point smoke detection less effective. The system was installed by Sectron, a longstanding regional partner whose team has used Hochiki products for over 30 years. Hochiki has also supplied fire detection for the BULTEX 99 logistics centre in Radinovo.
As well as products, Petia will also be on hand to talk about training with Hochiki. The Hochiki Training Academy already has over 2,000 users worldwide, with many customers across Bulgaria benefiting from access to the comprehensive online learning courses.
Entry to the Bulgarian Security Summit is free for qualified security industry professionals, with registration required in advance at bulgariansecuritysummit.com/register. Visitors are welcome to stop by Booth 10 on either day. For more information about Hochiki Europe, visit hochikieurope.com.
