Apollo Fire Detectors has published three new independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), making additional lifecycle data available for more of their product range. The declarations offer greater transparency around environmental performance and support sustainability assessments across the built environment.
These new additions join Apollo’s existing portfolio of EPDs covering its Soteria heat, optical smoke and multi-sensor detector range, further extending the availability of transparent and comprehensive environmental data across its product catalogue.
The three product ranges now covered by Apollo EPDs are:
- XP95 DIN Rail Mini Switch Monitor Module
- Soteria® Dimension Optical Smoke Detector (including Soteria® Dimension Backbox)
- XPERT 8 Mounting Base range
As embodied carbon becomes a more important consideration across the built environment, fire detection products are increasingly being included in lifecycle assessments. Environmental data for life safety systems has, historically, been limited, making it difficult for project teams to accurately evaluate their impact. By expanding its EPD portfolio, Apollo aims to help close that gap and enable customers to make better, evidence-based sustainability decisions.
