The National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) will host its annual Conference & Expo (C&E) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, 17–19 June 2024. This year will once again bring together thousands of industry-leading professionals who will attend more than 120 educational sessions and special events and tour the expo floor with more than 350 exhibitors.
‘We are excited to welcome the huge community of fire, electrical, and life safety professionals back to C&E,’ said Jim Pauley, NFPA CEO and president. “Not only are the program line-up and exhibits more valuable in person, but attendees learn so much from each other being in the same place.’ Last year’s diverse group of attendees included more than 8,000:
- Architects
- Consultants
- Engineers
- Firefighters
- Facility managers
- Public officials
- Fire, electrical, and life safety professionals
More than 120 educational sessions will address the latest issues, challenges and opportunities for today’s fire and life safety practitioners, including the NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem™; code compliance; emergency preparedness and response; emerging technologies; global issues; public education; building and life safety and construction; fire protection systems; industrial hazards; electrical safety; and much more. Conference attendees will be able to benefit from all the education sessions by purchasing the ConferenceAdvantage™ Pass, which will give access to all education sessions plus post show education sessions on demand.
The NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem is a framework that identifies the components that must work together to minimize risk and help prevent loss, injuries and death from fire, electrical and other hazards. The NFPA Conference & Expo is the unique opportunity for professionals from all sections of the ecosystem to network with each other and develop a better understanding of the benefits of working together.
The 2024 expo will feature more than 350 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services needed to comply with prevailing codes and standards for design, construction and operation of the built environment. The NFPA booth will present the organizations latest initiatives, programs and resources, including a dedicated area for live NFPA LiNK® demonstrations, highlighting the full capabilities of dynamic, digital access to NFPA codes and standards and related material. The expo floor will also feature specialty NFPA booths showcasing electric vehicles, wildfire virtual reality, and CRAIG 1300®, the digital tool that collects and analyses community data in support of community risk reduction.
