At this year’s Emergency Services Show, Dräger, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology, will demonstrate its role as a national resilience partner, supporting government, emergency responders and the wider resilience community to make better-informed decisions, build readiness for changing risks and simplify delivery in complex incident environments.
As headline sponsor of the Resilience 360 stage, Dräger will present two sessions focused on the practical challenges of national resilience across prevention, preparedness, response and recovery (PPRR).
Stephen Fallon, Dräger’s Global Business Development Manager, Defence & Security, will present ‘Looking Back to Stay Ahead: CBRN Lessons for National Resilience’ and Martyn Standering, Dräger’s Business Development Manager, Industrial Breathing Systems, will present ‘Are we ready for the next health emergency?’. Together, the sessions will explore how organisations can learn from experience, anticipate changing risks and strengthen the capabilities needed to remain ready.
Dräger’s approach is built around the principle that resilience starts well before the crisis and is built and sustained across the PPRR cycle. It highlights the importance of early detection, planning, logistics, asset management, readiness, training and learning from experience, alongside the protection of emergency responders and the continuity of essential services during prolonged or complex emergencies.
Visitors to the Dräger stand can hear from the team how Dräger is working with Category 1 and 2 responders to identify capability gaps and provide whole-life support. This includes tested equipment, technical advice, training, reliable servicing, surge capacity and asset visibility to help keep critical capabilities ready, maintained and scalable over time.

The Emergency Services Show will take place on the 16-17 September at the Birmingham NEC. Stephen’s session will take place on the 16th September at 12:30, and Martyn’s session on the 17th at 13:30.
