Matt Spechtler has agreed to join the Editorial Advisory Board of MDM Publishing Ltd where he will assist the board and directors of MDM Publishing in attaining the very best editorial content across its stable of leading fire industry journals.
Matt was born in Austria and is an international marketing and communications professional. Equipped with two master’s degrees, he initially worked for well-known advertising and communications agencies in Austria and Europe before moving to South Africa more than 20 years ago, where he initially worked for 8 years as Chief Marketing Officer for the South African Tourism Board and then for a further 10 years as Chief Marketing Officer for South African Airways.
He then worked as CMO for a global internationalisation company before returning to Europe where he now brings all his knowledge and experience to IGNIS GLOBAL PROTECTION GROUP.
With over 20 years of international experience, IGNIS is now one of the world’s leading companies in providing training and consultancy services to the entire emergency management, emergency preparedness and emergency response teams at civil and military airports, airlines, industrial facilities, oil and gas complexes, governments, ports, ships, tunnels and municipalities.
Matt Spechtler is happily married to a South African woman and has 5 children.
