Elkhart Brass has been manufacturing elite firefighting equipment for the global fire industry for over 120 years. The latest series of firefighting nozzles, the XD EN series, is designed for Xtreme Duty and offers an industry-first lifetime warranty.
Built for professional firefighters, the XD are the only handline nozzles to offer a forged shutoff body and a forged metal bale handle for maximum strength. They also feature, as standard, a full round metal ball for the best stream performance, as well as fixed moulded urethane or spinning stainless-steel metal teeth that don’t break.
The series contains seven types of PN16 and PN40 rated nozzles, that can be applied to all firefighting environments and situations, including the BreakApart XD PN16, Chief XD Fixed Flow, Select-O-Matic XD, Phantom XD and the Smoothbore XD.
The EB-500-XD portable flow meter and the 555A Standpipe flow meter provide accurate and effective flow testing. Features include digital readout and rechargeable batteries to ensure the flow meters are ready for duty.
Elkhart Brass has a strong partnership with The Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh, UK, supplying a range of equipment applied throughout the training facility for practical workshops. In 2022, the college hosted the first HOT event, a unique thought-leadership event dedicated to high-rise operational tactics. As the main sponsor, Elkhart Brass firefighting experts from the USA and UK delivered theoretical seminars, as well as real-life firefighting workshops across the four-day event.
This year HOT 2023 promises to be bigger and better, with firefighting experts across the globe gathering to share knowledge and experience on high-rise firefighting at The Fire Service College. Attendees have the option of the full four-day experience with practical training, or the two-day theoretical seminars and round-table discussions.
