The Fire Service College, part of Capita People Solutions business, is delighted that our International Business Development and Delivery team, have received the Training Provider of the Year at the 5th Excellence in Fire & Emergency Awards held in London on 7th December.
The Training Provider of the Year Award is presented to an individual, organisation or team that has delivered exceptional training for fire and emergency personnel. Demonstrating transference of learning, exceptional feedback, organisational improvements directly linked to the training, and innovation and best practice.

Winning this prestigious award is a testament to the hard work and commitment that staff across the College put into developing and delivering courses for our international customers as well as our UK customers, this is also reflected in the great customer feedback that we receive.”
The International Business Development and Delivery team develop relationships with a global audience with a particular focus on the Middle East and Europe. We currently offer specialist training at all levels to these organisations. While the team can deliver this training anywhere in the world, many overseas learners choose to come to Moreton-in-Marsh for the experience of living and learning abroad, to immerse themselves in a different culture which broadens and enhances their learning opportunity, as well as for the unique facilities offered by the specialist incident ground. In addition, 2016 saw the Fire Service College become the first European body to attain accreditation to award NFPA standards through the awarding body, Pro Board. An essential part of this work is to create a mutually beneficial relationship designed to build safer sustainable communities through the delivery of high impact training with the associated international qualifications.
The College has provided services to over 120 countries worldwide including: Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kurdistan, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Angola, Thailand, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Gibraltar, the United States of America and many others.
