Kings Theatre Portsmouth – one of the country’s top regional theatres – is today pleased to announce a new initiative to give discounts to emergency services workers and members of the armed forces.
The scheme will see workers from professions including current and ex-Armed Forces, NHS Workers, Fire Services Workers and Police Workers receive discounts to every show at The Kings Theatre with ID.
The discounts will vary per show and will be in line with other concessions offered. Shows included in the offer include: Sinatra Sequins & Swing, The Best Of Wham, Hancock’s Half Hour, Walk Right Back, Bugsy Malone, Let It Be, Seven Drunken Nights, Blood Brothers, Mindgame, The Bootleg Beatles, New Jersey Nights. Tina Turner Exp. Beach Boys Tribute, One Night Of Elvis, Illegal Eagles, Little Mix Experience, Dirty Dancing, Madagascar, Hair, UK Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi Experience and FAME
The initiative is part of the Kings Theatre’s drive to increase its contributions to the local community and to charitable causes.
Kings Theatre Portsmouth CEO Paul Woolf said:
“We want to give something back to those who provide some of our most essential services and, because the nature of these professions leaves little time for a trip to the theatre, we’re keen to make sure that our emergency services workers and armed forces know that they’re welcome at the Kings Theatre Portsmouth, and that it’s as affordable as possible.”
