An innovative method is available with which both the internal surfaces of firefighting vehicles and stationary extinguishing systems can be cleaned of PFAS and, in a separate work step, the resulting rinsing water can be completely cleaned directly on site. The disposal of rinsing liquids can be dispensed with in the future if this method (so-called perfluorAd process) is used.
Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH uses the technology both in an officially approved cleaning centre in Essen, Germany, as well as through the application of mobile systems on the premises of customers (fire brigades) and at locations where a fire event has taken place.
The technology represents the current state of science and is also absolutely resource-saving and quickly available. The PerfluorAd method has been verified both by third parties in practical applications and in scientific studies.
