Join us for the third international Holmatro Rescue Challenge at INTERSCHUTZ 2026! Teams from all over the world will compete to rescue a trapped ‘live victim’ from modern vehicles, using Holmatro rescue
equipment.
Learning event
The aim of the Holmatro Rescue Challenge is to facilitate a safe learning environment for first responders
and firefighters. Before they get to work, the teams will receive instructions on how to use Holmatro’s rescue equipment and how to free trapped victims. Each team will be monitored and evaluated by experienced assessors.
The teams will be challenged to respond to a unique vehicle extrication scenario, where they will be using
the advanced next-gen Pentheon rescue tools to free the victim within 20 minutes. The assessors will judge each team not only on tool use techniques, but also on criteria such as medical assessment, patient handling and on-scene communication.
Award Ceremony
At the end of the Holmatro Rescue Challenge the winners will be announced during the Award Ceremony.
There will be prizes for the Best Overall Team, the Best Technical Team, and the Best Team Spirit.
