Fire industry remote alarm management and software specialist FireMate has announced the promotion of long-serving Sales Manager Peter Martin to the role of UK Business Manager, overseeing the company’s business operations in the UK and Europe.
Peter has been with FireMate in his previous role since 2019, prior to which he served in various positions within the fire industry, including servicing extinguishers, installing and commissioning fire systems, design and sales roles. His expertise in the fire industry and his passion for the company’s core product – the Nimbus remote fire alarm management platform – have made him an invaluable member of the team.
“I’m so excited to take on this new role at FireMate,” said Peter. “Our industry is rapidly changing, and I‘m eager to help shape the future of fire safety by boosting the uptake of Nimbus and our fire protection maintenance software, both of which have the potential to be game-changing for end users and fire installers. My goal is to further grow awareness of our products, and the multiple benefits they can deliver.”

In his spare time, Peter enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and wild camping in Scotland. He lives in Cambridge with his long-term partner and their two dogs.
