EVP Ltd, offering a range of automotive and safety products for the emergency and utility services, are proud to have been appointed the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Kussmaul Electronics products.
Kussmaul have developed a wide range of rugged electronic power supply and control products which have proven essential for emergency and public safety vehicles. Their focus has been on supplying products that keep vehicles energised and ready to respond when seconds count, with minimum attention from the operator. Kussmaul have been the most trusted name in the field for over 50 years, gaining a reputation for quality and reliability in the US and European market.

Now, EVP Ltd are pleased to have added to their product portfolio: Kussmaul charging systems which maintain batteries and power in-vehicle electronics; Kussmaul automatic power ejects which allow vehicles to swiftly deploy; and other electronics enabling emergency vehicles to remain easily and efficiently charged.
The highest demand on the UK market has been for the Auto Ejects – models 15, 16 or 30. With over 30,000 Kussmaul Auto Ejects supplied in the UK and Europe alone, they have become the industry standard for self-ejecting mains connections on emergency vehicles. Available in 15A, 16A and 32A, all versions are supplied in 115V or 230V variants. The 15A version uses the globally accepted NEMA-style connector while the 16A and 32A versions use the popular and inexpensive IEC 60309-2 connectors.
Each Kussmaul Auto Eject features a built-in micro switch to ensure that the mains supply is not accessed until the connector is inserted thereby reducing the risk of arcing and extending connector pin life. The eject signal is sourced directly from the starter motor so that the eject functions as soon as the starter motor is engaged.
Each Auto Eject is a completely sealed automatic power-line disconnect. This prevents contamination of the mechanism by road dirt and ensures long, reliable life even when mounted in the most severe environment. Weatherproof covers have colour coding of yellow for 115V and blue for 230V applications, allowing for quick and easy visual identification.
EVP Ltd are also offering eject accessories, reels, vehicle solar panels, battery chargers and engine switches and indicators. All these products are made to European compliance in a dedicated factory located in the USA. Thanks to their efficient, streamlined logistics and central location in Warwick, Midlands UK, EVP Ltd are constantly holding a large stock of factory built, assembled and calibrated Kussmaul products ready for next-day delivery.
