Argon Electronics (UK) Ltd has released a major upgrade to its Rados RDS200 training simulator that provides a significant improvement to the simulated Gamma performance of the training system.
The upgrade can be applied to all existing customer RDS200 simulators and implements Argon’s latest-generation Gamma simulation technology to provide advanced simulation of inverse square law response and shielding effects.
Derek Broadbent, Argon Business Development Manager commented: ‘Many of the UK’s Fire and Rescue Services use our RDS200 simulator for vital radiological response training. The new Gamma simulation source and RDS200-SIM upgrade is a complete game changer and can operate through walls, ceilings, floors and can even be hidden within vehicles and packing crates providing highly realistic radiological hazard scenarios.’
Argon manufactures a wide range of CBRN and HazMat training simulators, many of which can be used independently or with their wide area file exercise / virtual Table Top exercise system PlumeSIM.
