There’s a lingering misconception in certain quarters that rugged technology involves some sort of trade-off, whether it be cost, weight, size, or performance. While this may have been true in the past, it’s certainly not the case anymore. Most of these misconceptions date back many years to original rugged devices that were designed primarily for military use.
