In early March I made contact with the Our Blue Light Charity, they support the Mental Health and Well Being of all Emergency Service Personnel, Essential Workers and their families. They agreed to work with us on a 2021 charity calendar and photograph ideas were shared. Obviously 2020 became somewhat tricky for everyone.
Determination kicked in to put together our 2021 charity calendar due to the year all our Emergency Service Personnel have had to contend with. I approached the National Emergency Services Museum to see if they would be willing to collaborate with us and Our Blue Light Charity as they have been closed throughout this unprecedented period. The Museum agreed and opened their doors for us to spend a couple of days to take our photographs without the distraction of the visiting public in September.
I managed to secure some of Pelucchi’s friends from social media to join us as models and represent their Services. We also invited a couple of people who work closely with Our Blue Light Charity in supporting our Emergency Services. We were able to attend RNLI Scarborough Lifeboat Station and join York Rescue Boat for some training on the river. After our initial photo shoot, we also popped over to Leicestershire to take some final photographs for the Calendar with Leicestershire Lowland Search and Rescue and Pete Lewin with his Newfoundlands.

The printing of the Calendar has been very kindly funded by South West Care Homes; Reach and Rescue Ltd; MedTree and Ianthe Galleria. Their generosity means 100% of the sale of this Calendar can be split 50/50 between our two chosen charities, Our Blue Light Charity and the National Emergency Services Museum.
