Entries for the 2026 FREAs, sponsored by AXA, will close at midnight on Wednesday 28thJanuary 2026.
The FREAs recognise outstanding performance in tackling fires and improving resilience to them. These independent awards celebrate individuals, teams, companies, initiatives, and products involved in fire resilience management across various sectors including public, private and third-sector organisations. The core values of the FREAs emphasise excellence, innovation and dedication to fire safety in the UK. With 9 categories, the FREAs offer broad recognition for excellence within the industry.
Nominations are free to submit in the following categories:
Outstanding Installer/Integrator
Outstanding Product/Innovation
Outstanding Partnership/Collaboration
Outstanding Fire Risk Assessor
Outstanding Female Professional
The nomination process is quick and simple. It can be completed online, with each category requiring answers to just two questions. Participants can enter in multiple categories.
An independent panel of experts, selected by leading security organisations, will judge all entries. Finalists and winners will be celebrated during a gala dinner, to take place on the 29th April 2026 at the Birmingham Metropole, co-located with The Safety and Security Series.
