We are the official providers of MTB Search and Rescue for Lowland Rescue Our ESCP & MTB S&R course have been rolled out to many Police Services including The Metrolpolitan Police, West Midlands Police, along with Fire Services including South Yorkshire & West Midlands, St.John Ambulance. MIAS trains your trainers up so they can cascade the training down to all those officers fulfilling all of the legal requirements for cycle patrol. We provide log books, folders all of the PowerPoint presentations for trainers to deliver this course. We train both on and off road.
MIAS has been in operation since 1989 has very close to 20,000 members. We have teamed up with Innovate Awarding to offer RQF ‘A Level’ equivalent courses.
One of the uses for ESCP is for Fire Officers to go out on cycles in remote areas such as the moors and leaflet walkers, other cyclists and anyone else in the dangers of accidentally starting fires. A good example is the fires North of Manchester in June/July this year.
Please come and talk to us at the show on stand W8. We are more than happy to answer any of your questions.
