London Electronics Ltd specialises in designing and making user-friendly, reliable custom large displays so you can easily see important information from afar, in harsh environments. They can also offer Atex ExnR rated displays for more challenging applications.
Originally based in London, and formed in 1992, their design centre and factory is now located near Sandy in Bedfordshire, close to the A1 and M1 motorways.
Their displays are ideal for use in training situations, where a whole team may need to see the same information at the same time, possibly from different locations. Some displays can even automatically publish graphs to the web, to be shared in real time with other teams, or later to help with de-briefing and the development of improved firefighting methods.
A typical application involves the measurement of room temperature at various heights above ground and graphing the temperature over time, as the team commences extinguishing it. A popular product for this application is a portable trolley, containing three temperature measurement systems, easily legible up to 30m away.
Simply connect power and sensors to the display and it will do all the measurement conversions in one compact enclosure. You can power the systems from 12 or 24V vehicle power, 110VAC or 240VAC, whichever suits your needs best.
Sensor types include thermocouples, turbine flow meters, load cells, pressure sensors, gas sensors, humidity and wind-speed sensors – essentially any physical variable can be displayed.
Enclosures are manufactured to suit each order, by the fabrication team in Bedfordshire.
As well as large-digit displays, London Electronics Ltd also manufactures a wide range of user-friendly control-panel instrumentation, high-visibility message displays and bar-graph displays, for use in short-distance viewing applications.
With almost 30 years of experience, designing for a wide range of high-reliability monitoring tasks around the world, in every industry, the company is always happy to share ideas on how to achieve your monitoring and display aims in the most cost-effective, efficient way. Give them a call with an outline of what you need and they will be pleased to develop a solution to match your needs exactly.
They have a demonstration showroom and welcome visits to the factory, where you can discuss your needs in detail and see various options in real life. This is an ideal way to brainstorm with their designers, free of charge, and come up with effective ideas for displays to help your teams excel in what they do.
London’s factory is ISO9001 certified and all their products have a comprehensive three-year warranty.
