FirePro UK Ltd is proud to announce that its LPCB certificated Condensed Aerosol Fire Suppression technology has been named Outstanding Product/Innovation at the Fire Resilience Excellence Awards 2026.
Judges were impressed with the real-world NHS case study submission in which after a hospital sterilisation machine was originally destroyed by fire, bringing patient care services to an abrupt halt, FirePro – the only LPCB-certified condensed aerosol fire suppression system – was recognised for its sustainable, high-performance fire suppression capability, which was engineered and installed across all three sterilisation machines, combining internal linear heat detection, automatic power isolation and integrated fire suppression, for a nominal outlay.
Seven months later, a similar fault occurred within one of the sterilisation machines. This time, the system responded as the design intended. Instantly, power was cut, airflow contained, dampers closed, doors were closed, alarms triggered and FirePro automatically released internally. Once fire crews arrived, they were greeted by no fire, no smoke damage and minimal disruption. The installation of FirePro saved the Trust an estimated £250,000 – confirmed officially by NHS England.
Announced at a gala held on 29 April 2026 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the award is FirePro UK’s fourth fire industry award win in six years. “Our NHS case study is clear evidence, saving lives, critical assets, and £250,000 in one single incident.
