Automatic drop-down seals are a necessary accessory for stopping draughts, smoke and fire from getting underneath a fire door.

What it didn’t have was the prestigious Certifire certificate, which gives specifiers, customers and end-users absolute confidence about the stated performance of the product.
Following a rigorous 68-minute fire test held in partnership with Fire and Acoustic Seals at the Warringtonfire laboratory, it successfully achieved its new Certifire ‘CF5995’ certification. Fire and Acoustic Seals also took the opportunity to use their Certifire-approved Fire Door Foam and test their new silicone sealant which will be widely available early next year.
